About the Story Foundry

Why Story Foundry exists

I believe most marketers don't need more advice.

They need more clarity.

Not another content calendar.

Not another list of marketing trends.

Not another productivity hack.

They need someone to help them step back, see what's actually happening, and make confident decisions about what matters most.

That's what Story Foundry is built to do.

I help marketers and business owners replace Reactive Marketing with Marketing Clarity.

Because marketing should support your business—not consume it.

I didn't start Story Foundry because I loved marketing.

I started it because I knew what it felt like to carry too much.

For years, I was the marketer everyone depended on.

I managed websites, created campaigns, wrote emails, planned events, updated social media, supported sales, coordinated vendors, and somehow was still expected to "think strategically."

Every day felt full.

Every week felt behind.

Every new request felt urgent.

And no matter how hard I worked, it never felt like enough.

I assumed I needed better time management.

More discipline.

A better planner.

A new productivity system.

I was wrong.

The problem wasn't my effort.

It was the system.

The biggest shift in my career didn't come from learning another marketing tactic.

It came from realizing that I wasn't failing because I lacked skill.

I was working inside a reactive environment where everything felt equally important.

When every request becomes a priority...

Nothing actually gets prioritized.

When marketing is constantly reacting...

Strategy quietly disappears.

That realization changed the way I approached marketing—and eventually became the foundation of Story Foundry.

What I believe

At Story Foundry, a few ideas guide everything I do.

  • Marketing isn't failing because you're doing too little.

It's struggling because everything feels equally important.

  • Strategy isn't a document.

It's a series of confident decisions.

  • Great marketing tells one consistent story.

Every campaign.
Every webpage.
Every email.
Every conversation.

  • Clarity creates confidence.

When you know what matters, the work gets lighter.
Not because there's less to do.
Because you stop spending energy wondering what to do next.

what it’s like to work with me

I won't hand you a 50-page strategy document and wish you luck.

  • I ask questions.

  • I look for patterns.

  • I challenge assumptions.

  • I connect dots that have been hiding in plain sight.

My role isn't to overwhelm you with more ideas.

It's to help you make sense of the ones you already have.

Most clients leave saying some version of:

"I finally know what to focus on."

That's the goal.

Not more information.

More clarity.

A little more about me

Outside of client work, I'm usually exploring how stories shape the way we communicate, simplifying complex ideas into practical frameworks, or finding inspiration in books, conversations, and the everyday moments that make people feel understood.

I believe good marketing isn't about being louder.

It's about being clearer.

And I believe the best businesses grow when their people have the confidence to stop reacting and start leading.

Let's build something clearer.

If your marketing feels scattered, your messaging isn't landing, or you're simply tired of feeling like you're always catching up, I'd love to help.

The best place to start is a Story Clarity Audit—a focused strategy session designed to uncover what's creating friction and help you move forward with confidence.
